Over the past decade, the advancement in digital display technology has made choosing a LED display superior for commercial spaces. LED displays offer excellent brightness and contrast compared to projectors or LCD TV walls. Additionally, LED displays are easily serviceable, can last anywhere from 10-20 years depending on brightness used and are highly customizable for any project. In this example, the client, Henry's Cigar Lounge wanted an indoor display that would enhance the sports viewing experience for customers in their lounge. CMG Visuals delivered this with a 1.9 pixel pitch display and fully integrated it into their ELAN control system.
The requirements were simple. Nationwide Construction approached CMG Visuals to install an indoor LED display for Henry’s Cigar lounge in downtown Mansfield, Texas. The total time to install and integrate the LED wall took less than one week. This time included preparation, installation and coordinating with Henry's AV company on programing the display into their control system. CMG handled procuring, importing, and installing the led panels, working with electrical contractors to deliver 50 amps of power to the wall. This LED display served as the final piece for transitioning the room from basic to extraordinary.
Following the installation, this LED display has been a huge hit for the client and has attracted many customers to Henry’s Cigar Lounge. At 200” diagonally, this LED display is likely the largest for a cigar lounge in the state of Texas. All aspects of control for the wall are done through a touchscreen controller, which can easily switch between 4 inputs, one of which includes an Apple TV for presentations and streaming of Thursday night football on Amazon Prime.
