Over the past decade, advancements in digital display technology have made LED displays the superior choice for commercial spaces. Offering excellent brightness, contrast, and durability of 10–20 years, LED displays are highly customizable and easy to service. Henry's Cigar Lounge in downtown Mansfield, Texas, wanted to elevate their sports viewing experience with an indoor LED display, and CMG Visuals delivered with a 1.9-pixel pitch screen seamlessly integrated into their ELAN control system.
The project, commissioned by Nationwide Construction, required less than a week for preparation, installation, and programming. CMG Visuals managed the procurement, importation, and installation of the LED panels, collaborating with electrical contractors to supply 50 amps of power. The final result was an 8’ x 12’ video wall with a resolution of 2176 x 1280, controlled via a touchscreen interface with four HDMI inputs, including Apple TV. This 200” diagonal display, likely the largest in a cigar lounge in Texas, transformed the space into a premium venue for customers, particularly during Thursday night football streamed via Amazon Prime.
