Over time, LED displays wear out and begin to lose pixels. They also have failing hub boards, bad receiving cards, power supplies, and other minor issues. Methodist Hospital contacted CMG Visuals to determine whether to replace or repair its failing LED screen.
While every other vendor contacted told the client that the display was unfixable, CMG Visuals assured the Hospital that the screen could be fixed to the original working order. Within a couple of weeks, we had a factory representative on site to OEM repair the screen. Furthermore, both the original integrator and reseller of the screen would not support the hardware even though the display manufacturer could fix the issues.
- Replaced dead or missing pixels on P1.5 display
- Replaced failing receiving cards and hub boards
- Replaced failing IC chips
- Replenished spare module batch for future hot swap repairs
